Why modern warfare 2 is crap

Faults: Overpowered killstreaks, but they're also quite easy to get, if you're a decent player. Final stand, painkiller etc. Commando - range of the knife is annoying, but many people use it, except snipers and stealth people who use Steady Aim and Ninja respectively. OMA Noobtubes - are the absolute worst in this game, so many people use them, especially in Ground War.

It is fun to use, although extremely annoying. Good players snipe instead. Whether or not you can put up with Noobtubes determines whether or not you'll like the game. Otherwise, NoobTubers will ruin your game. Host migrations are very irritating, as the game often quits after a LONG migration.

SpecOps - honestly, most people don't even play it. But if you do, its pretty fun. The maps are right out of singleplayer, with objective based missions.

Some missions can be incredibly annoying. Getting 69stars is pretty hard, but possible. Overall, the game is extremely fast paced. Pretty much everything in Multiplayer is overpowered. You die really easily, but then again, you can kill very easily too. Any player, good or bad can have fun in this game. If you can put up with Noobtubers, you'll have a lot of fun, if you can't, you'll most likely get quite annoyed with the game. Teen, 14 years old Written by Stinklesteiner March 3, Controversial No Russian mission is not as bad as you may think.

Let's get this out of the way. There is a mission, "No Russian", where you and 4 other guys shoot up an airport full of innocent people. This mission can be completely skipped. It's literally the first thing you see when you start up the game. I quote, "Some players may find one of the missions disturbing or offensive. Would you like to have the option to skip this mission? I recall you can turn off swearing, but even if you leave it on there's not much anyway. Maybe a couple uses of the S word.

Captain Price, one of the main characters, smokes a cigar in some scenes. Smoking is not encouraged, however. War is shown in an extremely negative light. The blood is extremely unrealistic.

There is no gore. Shooting a corpse will not make blood squirt out of it, however I believe this is present in the remaster. Multiplayer is by far the worst part of the game.

However, there is a way to turn off voice chat. Other than chat, however, multiplayer is also the least violent part of the game with almost no blood whatsoever. Teen, 13 years old Written by Slick.

January 17, Great game, overshadowed by dumb old men who know nothing about videogames at the time. Wrecked aircraft litter the ground, and you creep through the night uneasily. Your commanding officer pauses every time he sees movement ahead, shouting out a code word to try to identify friend from foe.

For this brief stretch, you never know who's going to be a friend and who's going to be an enemy. In a game known for reckless action, it's a brief and convincing stretch of horror. Released 11 years ago, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is the sequel to the original Modern Warfare , which turned the military action series into a juggernaut by shifting its attention from World War II to the present, reconfiguring its play around the technology and concerns of earlys American military culture.

Recently, it got a fresh coat of paint, with Activision releasing a fully remastered version of the game's campaign on PlayStation 4, and then later on Xbox One and PC. It's an eminently competent, well-done remaster that makes the game feel like a contemporary release. Which showcases how strange a relic of its era Modern Warfare 2 truly is. As mired in American military adoration as it is, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is a game deserving of at least a little praise.

It manages to build authentic dread and disempowerment into what could have been straightforward jingoism, and in the process creates a game that reads as a satire of the early War on Terror, with the heroic frenzy of the game's early segments quickly devolving into confusion and disaster. Modern Warfare 2 had the unenviable job of crafting a sequel directly out of that narrative, and, possibly as a result of that choice, it fails to cohere as any sort of narrative.

It's a messy, ugly little game, as mesmerizing as it is infuriating. Its failure is felt most keenly in the part of the game that quickly became the most controversial: "No Russian," a short level in the first third of the game. Replying, Henderson didn't say much, but noted it's "not happening anytime soon. However, given Henderson's reputation, the former is presumably at least a part of the equation. With how popular Warzone is, and with a new Call of Duty releasing every year with multiplayer, it makes sense to hold back Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2's remastered multiplayer, especially if Infinity Ward is working on a remake of the game, which it likely is.

Read my mind 1. Just buy it! I used to play this game with my son but now hes moved on to many other games I say you should just by it. This title contains: Positive Messages. Adult Written by Pipmate September 7, Investigate before you say no Most parents take 1 look at call of duty games and say no way because it's to violent. I don't see why parents don't let there kids get this game I mean I'm pretty sure if they get this game they won't wake up one morning and say " bye mom!

I'm going to go around the neighborhood and shoot people because that game I spired me to bye! As for language kids these days at school probably talk like sailors Hope this helped. Parent of a 11, 14, and year-old Written by Thejudgeofallten January 12, There are some ups and downs all over this game, but good for twelve and up.

This game in some places seems like it should almost be rated teen, or e With the amazing filters that they have you can almost comepletely eliminate the blood, and the profanity. With that gone the game is now rated teen. This game portrays role models of American C. A agents and British S. All these people are fighting for thier country, and slowly along the course of the game you start to realize how horrific war is, sending a strong antiwar message.

Parts of this game are sad and moving, with the entire game being incredibly in depth as far as world powers like Russia and Euope go. In parts it requires you to have good problem solving skills and an understanding of government. Gone is the time where you just go to play a game to kill, now you actually have to think about what exactaly you're going to do. As far as profanity and violence goes there is some, but only with the innapropriate material filter off, and it's easy to go under the options menu and adjust that.

Overall this game it good for teens who can understand government and strategy. This title contains: Educational Value. Positive Messages. I wouldn't say its that bad. Your probably thinking I pulled a longshot by making this suitable for 8 year olds but hear me out. This game is probably better than the newer CoDs. Less violence, less swearing all that. I'd say its good for mature 8 or over.

Again, as long as they understand shooting people is wrong. Adult Written by Gladiator to ps4 August 2, Not only sutible but amazing. Adult Written by Citlaly75 July 16, Adult Written by Andy mulligan December 26, Over 12 It is a very old game.
