Can you still buy vicious weapons

Whether dungeon scaling reduces it some I am not sure, but for normal scaling it fully applies no matter what. If not, then you will take the full 1d3. If there are only a handful of people about 2 -4 you will take 1d damage or it might be 1d2, I'd assume the 1d is easier to code, however. If you are soloing in normal, then its 1d or it might be static one, not sure again. Vicious is at least playable now.

With a high-HP toon and some type of regen divine healing , you can hit with a vicious weapon pretty much all the dungeon. You should see when vicious was 2d6 to enemy, 1d6 to self, and no scaling.

For me, if those who are using vicious and I figure it out ie, not healing themselves, dying quickly and still using weapon get a ride in my backpack. Sure it's 1d3. Add that to haste, tempest, any other boost I cannot think of this early in the morning, and the enemies I'm never a proponent of intentionally damaging myself in any way.

My enemies do a good enough job of that for me. Stabbius Maximus, halfling rogue returning after like 12 years. If it is a mob that you need to hit more than a few times, then think of it like this: Did you kill it faster with the vicious weapon than you would have without?

If yes, did you take more damage from the vicious weapon than you would have from the mob had they been alive longer?

If no, then use it. If yes, then don't. As someone who usually plays a healer, I like vicious weapons.
